Lots of updates throughout March, especially a large number of Features which have started to come together now the Rides pages are largely complete.
Thanks to Mike Dutton for helping to solve the mystery of the two Paratrooper rides. The lifting model now has its own entry in the database alongside a photo contributed by Mike.
If you are so inclined, you can now install a Progressive Web Application (PWA) for the site. You will usually get a prompt when visiting the site for the first time, alternatively you can select ‘Add to Home Screen’ or similar, from your mobile browser’s menu. This provides you with instant access to the site from an icon on your device.
Finally, there are now ~30 additional dates in the ‘Rollback – On This Day’ feature on the homepage that will appear alongside News from the database. They didn’t warrant their own news stories, but they’re interesting enough to appear in the Rollback section once a year. They include related things like the opening of Blackpool Tower, the opening of Magnum XL-200, etc.
As ever, there’s lots more to come. We are going to concentrate on fleshing out the Entertainment listings throughout April. A lot of these are already in draft but it would be good to get all the main productions listed.
