Arkive – In The Mail – The Whip (1928)

This great comic postcard from 1928 shows three revellers on the Whip ride that had arrived in 1920. On the reverse of the card, the author writes that they “nearly lost their hat”.

Variations of this postcard were produced for a number of towns in the UK that had a Mangels Whip ride including Morecambe and Scarborough.
