    Rick 1 min read 25

The Blackpool Corporation have approved the erection of one of Sir Hiram Maxim’s flying machines on the Watson Estate, on the fairground south of the Victoria Pier.

It is believed that the structure is to cost about £6,000 and that the new Flying Machine will be ready for patrons later this summer.

The device is expected to be similar to the one that debuted at the Italian Exhibition at Earl’s Court in May.
