Yogi Bear Ride

The Yogi Bear Ride was a simple roundabout, featuring the Hanna-Barbera character, in an early use of intellectual property, that would become far more common in recent years with the coming of Nickelodeon Land and rides like Wallace & Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic.

The ride (or perhaps identical ones) was also located elsewhere on the promenade and in the Winter Gardens Olympia funfair. The photograph shown (kindly contributed by Michael Whitaker) was taken in late 1985.
