Arkive – Infusion Hype (2007)

When announced in November 2006, Infusion was previewed with the release of highly detailed and quite striking hand drawn concept art. Many of the features shown in the rendering made it to the final design, however, some did not.

As construction stepped up on the former Log Flume site, the hype machine went into high gear.

Alongside a number of news stories relating to strange findings on the construction site, the ride’s branding and style was showcased via several handbill and billboard adverts. These were displayed locally and as a far away as Manchester’s Trafford Centre.

The ride opened to guests on 2 May 2007.
