Former Baywatch and Knight Rider star David Hasselhoff was guest of honour today, as he opened the new Nickelodeon Land attraction. It represents a radical transformation of Beaver Creek, previously the Kiddie’s Park.

The Hoff opened the new area featuring 12 rides and attractions across six acres, representing a £10.3million investment.

Several existing rides including two classic wooden roller coasters  have been transformed into new experiences featuring Nickelodeon characters, alongside new rides including Avatar Airbender, SpongeBob’s Splash Bash and Wonder Pets Big Circus Bounce.

Dora’s World Voyage is expected to open later in the season.
