Infusion has this week celebrated the huge milestone of 1 million cycles, with special balloons marking the occasion.
The ride, a Mk3 Suspended Looping Coaster by Dutch manufacturer Vekoma, originally opened in 1999 at Pleasureland Southport as TRAUMAtizer, before moving to Pleasure Beach in 2007, replacing the Log Flume.
Today’s milestone means that the ride’s two trains have transported as many as 16 million riders over 428,000 miles, flipping them upside down 5 million times.
