The park’s new for 2003 hotel has been approved by council planners. It will be the park’s first hotel and the first seafront hotel built in Blackpool for over a quarter of a century.
The four storey, 118 bedroom hotel with restaurant and parking facilities will be constructed on the park’s south car park. The amusement arcade building at the south entrance will be incorporated into the new hotel, becoming a breakfast room and bistro.
Further details regarding the development are expected during the 2002 season.
