A new company was registered today with the intention of operating a number of Bicycle Railways. The newly established firm has the exclusive right to build and operate the technology, invented by Arthur Ethelbert Hotchkiss of Mount Holly, New Jersey.
Half the shares in the new enterprise are those of William George Bean who purchased the rights to the invention when living in America. Other shareholders include his brother Charles.
The company is looking to operate this new leisure activity in Brighton and Great Yarmouth, with other sites including one at South Shore being considered.
