Valhalla officially reopened today after a marathon refurbishment and reimagining. Members of the media rode the ride this morning, before it was opened to guests.
The ride has been in ‘technical rehearsals’ for several weeks, with tweaks being made to the ride system and the special effects.
Upgrades have been made to the ride system to improve reliability, most notably the removal of the second turnable and the replacement of the first.
A number of scenes have been improved, with a number replaced entirely. Additionally the audio system has been enhanced throughout the vast ride structure, through which a new narrative storyline has been introduced alongside the ride’s new soundtrack.
