References to this ride or attraction have been found in our research, however little is known about it. There are several references to it in the press around 1910.
The names ‘The Steeplechase’, ‘Steeplechase Stairs’ and ‘Steeplechase Stairway’ are all used and are presumably referencing the same ride/device. Therefore, perhaps this was something similar to a Cake Walk or another Fun House style device.
