27/02/1912 – Investors sought for new ‘Rainbow’ attraction

A new company has been formed to operate a new ‘Rainbow’ Pleasure Wheel at the park. Investors are now being sought to fund the new project, that is expected to be located near the Scenic Railway and promises to be a new focal point on the ever growing skyline.

A scale model of the new attraction can be seen this week only at the Lane Ends Hotel, on the promenade at the junction with Church Street.

The model will be moved to Manchester next week where further investors will be sought. It is hoped the new attraction will be constructed for the upcoming summer season.
