09/06/1988 – Blue Peter features Avalanche

The team from BBC’s Blue Peter have previewed the new Avalanche roller coaster with members of the British Bobsled Team who will officially open the ride later this month. The footage was filmed earlier this week and was broadcast this evening on BBC One.

The segment saw presenters Mark Curry and Yvette Fielding experience the new ride as well as the Grand National and the Revolution. Mark Curry also interviewed Mrs L. D. Thompson on the Monorail.
