01/08/1904 – Flying Machine officially opens

Two days after taking its first test flight, the new Hiram Maxim Captive Flying Machine has taken its first passengers at South Shore earlier today. A construction crew worked through the night to ensure that all outstanding matters have been addressed.

Designed by famed inventor Sir Hiram Maxim, the new device has ten flying boats that encircle the main structure of the ride in an accelerated manner.

It is thought that the ride will be the novelty of this season and many more to come.
