Arkive – Hot Ice Advert (1984)

The 1984 season saw a refresh of the park’s ice show, that had been presented annually since 1937. ‘Showtime on Ice’ was out and ‘Hot Ice‘ was in, a radical refresh of the format, devised by Gloria Gee.

This advert was featured in the local press and is the first mention of ‘Hot Ice’, the show that would become synonymous with Blackpool’s entertainment scene and remain so to the present day.
