In this postcard sent in 1923, it shows the Naval Spectatorium that since the previous year is now presenting a show themed around the Battle of Hampton Roads, also known as the Battle of the Monitor and Merrimack (hence the new subtitle on the ride building).

The design of the building is heavily borrowed from the Great Naval Spectatorium in Luna Park, Coney Island and its sheer scale is clear to see in this photo. It would tower over much of what is now the central area of the park in various guises until its destruction in 1939.
