A new hotel is planned to open in 2019 on Ocean Boulevard, directly below the Big One roller coaster.
The as yet unnamed hotel will have 120 rooms, including 10 suites and family rooms, with accommodation overlooking the sea or the amusement park. The building will also have meeting, conferencing and banqueting space alongside two restaurants.
The new hotel represents a £12m investment. It is expected that the development will see the creation of 30 new permanent jobs and 40 seasonal vacancies.
The hotel will be the park’s second after the introduction of the Big Blue Hotel in 2003.
