Earlier today the park launched a new mobile game called ‘Big One Buckle Up’. It has been developed in partnership with Whiterock A/S of Denmark.
In the game, players ride the Big One roller coaster, avoiding obstacles and collecting points that can be exchanged for prizes including wristbands to visit and food & drink in the park. The app features a number of Pleasure Beach characters including Bradley and Bella Beaver, Professor Donut and DJ.
Amanda Thompson OBE, said, “We are delighted to be working with Whiterock A/S on such an exciting project. It’s great to see Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and many of it’s familiar characters, represented in the game. I hope that after spending time riding the Big One and collecting points, many players will visit us to try out the real thing and use the vouchers they have earned to enjoy a treat while they are here.”
The game is available for both iOS and Android.
