A day before the 2016 season officially kicks off, Cub Scouts from all over West Lancashire descended on the park today to celebrate their centenary.  Founded as the ‘Wolf Cubs’ in 1916, the section provides scouting for boys & girls aged 8 – 10½.

A world record attempt for most people singing: “if you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands.” in front of the former Trauma Towers.

The group had full access to the park with most rides operating. They were the first to see the work that is has been completed over the winter for an as yet unannounced attraction that has seen the removal of the Tom Sawyer Bridge.
