After weeks (months, years!) of waiting, earlier today lucky riders finally got their chance to ride the new Pepsi Max Big One, the tallest and fastest roller coaster on the planet. Reviews from riders who secured their seat today have been glowing.
The mammoth ride began testing earlier this month, since then a programme of commissioning has been completed by US manufacturer Arrow Dynamics. It is one of three Arrow ‘Hyper’ (over 200ft) roller coasters due to open this year, however the Big One lives up to its name and is the tallest and fastest of the trio.
An official launch is expected in June.
