08/08/2023 – Small fire at Derby Racer

Fire crews attended the Pleasure Beach earlier this evening to tackle a small fire under the Derby Racer.

A spokesperson for the park told the Blackpool Gazette: “There was a small fire underneath the Derby Racer at approximately 6:10pm today. The fire was extinguished shortly after the alarm was raised”.

The ride is expected to be closed for a few days.
