Most roller coasters have the ability to add and remove trains from the circuit in order to provide more or less capacity, depending on crowd levels and also to facilitate maintenance.

Icon has three trains that are stored and maintained in two maintenance bays behind the station. In order to add and remove trains a sliding mechanism is utilised. This great video from the UKNorthWest channel shows the process of moving a train from the circuit to the maintenance bay.
