With the retirement of the Veteran Cars attraction, most of its infrastructure was reused for Convoy, one of the three new attractions that came to the park in 2002 (alongside Spin Doctor and Impossible).

The Eddie Stobart trucks on Convoy are named Hannah, Measha, Shelley, Sandie and Queenie. Queenie is a nod to Queen Elizabeth II who was celebrating her Golden Jubilee in 2002, the year that the ride opened.

With a new station building and a new electrically powered convoy of Eddie Stobart trucks, the ride opened at Easter. Just like their real life counterparts, the trucks each have a female name, the five Convoy trucks are called Hannah, Measha, Shelley, Sandie and Queenie.

A year later, the petrol cars on the Grand Prix were also replaced with electric vehicles.
