One of the most popular forms of amusement on the South Shore Pleasure Ground is the Scenic Railway. It daily affords pleasure to hundreds of visitors and is always a great source of amusement.

It is one of those novelties that never pall, even though there are so many other forms of amusement and pleasure at the Coney Island of Blackpool. A ride on the Scenic Railway opens up the vista of the pleasure seeker, pretty scenes, hills, tunnels and floral valleys, the effect of the whole being considerably enhanced by the lavish use of electric lights from many-hued globes, the whole having a fairyland effect. No family should visit South Shore without sampling the delights of the Scenic Railway.

The Scenic Railway provides the most exciting and exhilarating ride one could wish for and another sensational “dip” has been added. It appeals especially to children, to whom it is a never-failing source of merriment.
