Originally unveiled in 1965, the Schwarzkopf Bayern Kurve (Bavaria Curve) is a hugely thrilling flat ride that was a common sight in fairgrounds and amusement parks for several decades.

Consisting of 16 coupled cars, the train circled the inclined track with immense speed. The Pleasure Beach ride was introduced in 1980 near the overpass. Although its name is synonymous with its larger neighbour, that ride was still operating with its original name, the Turnpike.
