Earlier this evening the park hosted an after hours party to celebrate the centenary of the Big Dipper roller coaster. The event featured drinks, live music and exclusive access to the ride. Operations Director Andy Hygate also spoke to the gathered crowd about the history of the ride.
Ahead of the event Amanda Thompson OBE said “Although this coaster may be a veteran amongst the park, it’s a truly enjoyable ride, and we hope that its recent ‘glow-up’ will reinstate its position as a grand wooden coaster that is rich with history and a century full of memories and laughs,”
