Pleasure Beach have announced a huge new ride is in the works for the 2026 season. Costing £8.72m, it will be the largest of its kind in the UK.
The ride will be a Gyro Swing, a larger version of the Maelstrom ride at Drayton Manor. Work is already underway on the former site of the Bowl-A-Drome arcade.
The spinning pendulum will swing to 120 degrees and reach heights of 138 feet at its highest point. It will seat 40 riders who face outwards with their legs dangling.
