Just after 07:00am this morning, the Pepsi Max Big One began testing, hurtling around the near mile long track for the very first time.
As part of the commissioning process, John Lane of Arrow Dynamics took the first test ride. The Thompson family, members of the media and the Pleasure Beach team who have worked relentlessly for four years to construct the ride are expected to take their first rides later this week.
The 235ft landmark roller coaster is expected to open to the public later this month.
