The new Valhalla ride was previewed for the assembled press today. Donning hard hats, journalists were invited into the cavernous structure at the northern end of the park, but not before the Royal Marines abseiled from the top the huge facade of the ride.
Much of the attraction is already in place, efforts are now focussing on completing the vast special effects that will be integral to the ride experience. Speaking to journalists, Geoffrey Thompson OBE said “With Valhalla we will be consolidating our standing as Britain’s most visited tourist attraction. This project will definitely deliver all it promises, unlike other talked-about Millennium ventures”.
The ride is expected to open for riders in May and officially open in June, with exact dates to be confirmed.
