The park has opened for the season on time today, despite enduring one of the busiest winters in its history as work progresses on the mammoth foundations for Project 94.

During the winter months, 4,000 tons of earth have been shifted with 1,680 cubic metres of concrete poured. 1,270 piles have been driven to support the mile long route of the new ride.

The Log Flume, Monorail and Pleasure Beach Express were not running as construction has required modifications to each of these attractions.
