To celebrate the launch of Valhalla as the main attraction for the 2000 season (and the new millennium), the park partnered with Blackpool Transport to transform one of the resort’s trams into an advert for the new ride.
Balloon car 720 featured an all over advert from summer 2000 until late 2003. It featured the ‘Leave your senses in the hands of the Gods’ tagline, used prominently in the ride’s early years.
Later in its existence, the tram featured an all over advert for Eclipse. As of 2026, the tram is stored at the Rigby Road depot.
Corgi released a model version of the Valhalla tram, these are often available via sellers on eBay.
