To celebrate the launch of Nickelodeon Land for the 2011 season, the park once again partnered with Blackpool Transport to transform one of the resort’s trams into an advert for the new family area of the park, like they had done for Infusion, Valhalla and several other projects before that.

Jubilee Car 762 featured an all over advert throughout the 2011 season, before it was withdrawn from service, due to the arrival of the modern Flexity 2 fleet. It was later moved to the National Tramway Museum at Crich where it continues to operate with the Nickelodeon Land livery.

The history of Jubilee Car 762 is interesting. It was originally built in the mid 1930s as ‘Balloon Car’ 714, it was mothballed in 1971 before being rebuilt in 1982. The car was stretched to allow for more passengers and was ‘upgraded’ to allow driver only operation.
