Arkive – Park Advert (1983)

This poster for the 1983 season highlights the new features for the year. The headline new ride is the Ranger, replacing the Reel that had been dismantled over the winter months. The ‘swirl’ ride Ben Hur had also been introduced at the southern end of the site near where the Big One station stands today.

We believe that ‘Cat Rack’ was a game near the Wild Mouse where participants had to knock down cat shaped characters with balls.
