"Hurry hurry hurry ... the Greatest Show on Earth is about to begin!"
The 1990 season saw yet another new dark ride introduced. Located at the south end of the ride site, the Greatest Show On Earth was a reimagining of the former Wonderful World of Entertainment ride that previously operated in the Casino.
The suspended cars, themed as flying theatre boxes took riders through a show, with 200 animated models, accompanied by custom soundtrack.
On the journey guests visited Nicky’s Circus, the Ziegfeld Follies, the Paris Can Can and the park’s famous Hot Ice show, amongst other scenes.
The ride remained until the 1997 season when ride closed for the building to be converted into the present Burger King restaurant.
