After flying in to British Aerospace at Warton, the Prime Minister visited the Pleasure Beach earlier today. He was greeted by Geoffrey Thompson who was on hand to show off a scale model of Project 94, the world’s tallest and fastest roller coaster that will open next season.

Elsewhere in town, the Prime Minister opened the new £1.1m National Artificial Eye Centre at Bispham, where he spoke movingly about how his father Tom nearly lost his sight.
