YouTube Pick – The Experience (1997)

‘The Experience’ was a VHS video tape sold at the park from 1997 onwards. It provides a fabulous window into the park at the time as well as a potted history of the park and the company. The historical footage shows a number of seldom seen rides in motion including the Sky Ride and Dive Bomber.

It features a number of interviews with the Thompson family, park staff and fan favourites Bernard & Phyllis Buxton who had a number of media appearances during the 1990s.

This version comes from the alunday1991 channel, the static and interference at the start of the tape quickly clears.
