Breaker, breaker, good buddy - the Eddie Stobart Convoy ride has arrived at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

The new family ride is the latest concept from Italian ride manufacturer Zamperla and consists of five heavy goods vehicles which travel on a 200-metre track.

In a new sponsorship deal with Eddie Stobart Limited, each vehicle is branded in the distinctive Eddie Stobart colours - even down to their individual female names.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach Managing Director Geoffrey Thompson said: “We are delighted that Eddie Stobart Group is sponsoring the Convoy ride. Convoy is a fun ride for the whole family and the Eddie Stobart branding enhances the ride experience. We hope this is the beginning of a long and happy association between our two companies.”
