The Swamp Buggies were a curious mix of a Dodgems and a water ride, offering riders the chance to navigate their way around a lagoon, with the opportunity to collide with (or avoid) fellow riders. When they opened in 1979, the ride operated on North Park near the Water Chute.

In their second incarnation, they operated on South Park, utilising the former loading platform of the Tom Sawyer Raft Ride. The ride closed in 2011.
