Hurricane (sometimes referred to as Hurricane Jets) was one of the first large rides to be built after the Second World War, opening in 1957. Located at the front of the park, it was visible from the promenade, beyond the Putting Green.

Built under licence by the Lang Wheels company, the ride was a predecessor to the Fairy World Taxi Spin ride in Nickelodeon Land today.

It would operate until around 1976.
