The Hard Luck Bears were an anamatronic ensemble who performed in there own venue at the north end of the site.
The Country Bear Jubilee, to use its production name, was a predecessor to The Rock-afire Explosion that entertained audiences in ShowBiz Pizza Place restaurants across the USA from 1980 to 1993. Music included a number of standards such as the Teddy Bear’s Picnic and also some custom songs for the Pleasure Beach show, including a rendition of Blackpool Belle and a song about the park itself.
Other installations of this show could be found at Carowinds, Knoebels and Fantasilandia among others. When it reached the end of its run at the Pleasure Beach, the attraction was moved to Frontierland where it operated until the park’s closure.
