This ride is defunct.

Electric Speedway rides were once a common sight in amusement parks and funfairs. Electric cars would race around the oval circuit, sourcing their power from a grid within the floor – like some Dodgem rides. The ride was located parallel to Watson Road, prior to the construction of the overpass.

The building that housed the Electric Speedway is still located at the park, albeit in a different location. It can be seen from Bond Street near the Grand National in a back of house area.
