The Crazy Daisy concept was built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and was introduced at the Pleasure Beach in 1962. Similar in concept to several other spinning rides, the Crazy Daisy was an elaborate ‘Tea Cup’ ride featuring twin turntables with cars shifting between them mid-ride, creating a ‘figure-8’ path for the cups.

Countless rides have been moved from one area of the park to another to aid development on the tightly packed 42-acre site. These include the Egg Scrambler, Alpine Dodgems, Tidal Wave, Crazy Daisy and The Whip.
The ride operated in the Kiddie’s Park from its installation until the arrival of Nickelodeon Land. At this time it was relocated into the main park under the Revolution until its retirement at the end of the 2016 season. It operated under the production name Crazy Daisy and also the Tetley Tea Cup Ride.
Italian ride manufacturer Zamperla offers a similar modern concept in the form of their Demolition Derby attraction.
