The park has announced that it is partnering with entertainment brand Nickelodeon to create ‘Nickelodeon Land’ for 2011.

Nickelodeon brands and characters will feature in 14 attractions in a six acre area, with construction of Nickelodeon Land scheduled to begin in the autumn.

Amanda Thompson, the park’s Managing Director said: “We are delighted to welcome Nickelodeon to Pleasure Beach. Nickelodeon Land will combine Pleasure Beach’s reputation for amazing rides and attractions with Nickelodeon’s favorite fun characters to produce a wonderful attraction, which will wow visitors to the park.”

It is expected that this will replace the current Beaver Creek area, introduced from 1992 onwards.
