A new book detailing the history of the park has been published today. Written by Professor Vanessa Toulmin, Blackpool Pleasure Beach: More Than Just an Amusement Park is a comprehensive account of how the park came into being, focussing on its rides, entertainment, architecture and the people who made it happen.
It features a forward by John Collins and a final chapter by Amanda Thompson OBE.
The book is being stocked in most good bookshops and is also available at the park.
