The town council this morning reviewed plans for the erection of a temporary building to house a ‘haunted cabin’ at the South Shore Fair Ground, more recently referred to as the Pleasure Beach.

There was much debate within the committee about further development on the site at south shore, with fears that it may become as large as Earl’s Court. Eventually, after much discussion, the plans were approved.

The conditions for the approval were that the structure must be pulled down within 12 months and would not be open on Sundays.
