THE FLEETWOOD CHRONICLE

FRIDAY, MAY 31, 1912

A new laughter device is the Whirlpool which is one of the few things on the Pleasure Beach not direct from London. It comes from Glasgow and it is a scream. A lighthouse stands in the centre, and the Whirlpool swishes the cars round in eccentric motion. A feature is that the cars reverse, banishing the fear of sickness as a result of the whirling.
